SPH Plant Ltd’s Simon Takes on Wing Walk Challenge to Support Hope House & Ty Gobaith

Shropshire-based company SPH Plant Ltd is gearing up for an exhilarating event in support of Hope House Children’s Hospices and Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospice.

Simon Holding, the director of SPH plant has courageously accepted the challenge to embark on a wing walk to help raise funds.  Simon’s fundraising efforts have already been incredibly successful, reaching past their goal of £1000 with a remarkable total of £1150 raised.

Joanne Sidaway of SPH Plant Ltd shared “Simon and I flipped a coin as to who would do the ‘Wing Walk’, to be honest I was up for it but I do think it was fixed due to a medical condition that I have so for that reason Simon drew the short straw!”

The overwhelming support from colleagues, friends, and the community demonstrates their commitment to supporting the invaluable work of Hope House. The funds raised will contribute significantly to the exceptional care and support provided by both Hope House and Ty Gobaith.

One of the primary motivations behind selecting Hope House as the beneficiary is their outstanding work not only with children but also with their families. Joanne acknowledged that before her involvement with the charities, she had not fully comprehended the extent of the support and assistance they offer.

The remarkable services provided by Hope House and Ty Gobaith to children with life-limiting conditions and their families have inspired Joanne and Simon to focus their support locally, recognizing the impact they can make in their own community.

Looking ahead, SPH Plant Ltd and its dedicated team are already planning additional initiatives for Hope House, particularly during the upcoming Christmas season. The company aims to maintain a close connection with the charity, continuing to provide support and assistance to the children and families in need.

Simon’s wing walk, scheduled for July 27, promises to be a thrilling event that will not only test his mettle but also serve as a powerful symbol of hope and resilience for the beneficiaries of Hope House and Ty Gobaith.
